关于此景点
Located in Ban Dong Mafia, Khok Mon Subdistrict, between Nam Nao District, Phetchabun Province and Phu Man District, Khon Kaen Province.
It is a large waterfall formed by water erosion creating cracks in the rock layers, divided into two levels:
- The first level is a rock formation resembling steps, 20 meters wide and about 100 meters long, stretching to the waterfall cliff.
- The second level is the waterfall cliff area, about 100 meters high, surrounded by lush forest on both sides, creating a shady and beautiful atmosphere. The rock layers that the waterfall erodes through are small sedimentary rocks formed by sedimentation and accumulation at the bottom of a freshwater lake over 100 years.
It is also a geological heritage site of the Korat Group, Huai Hin Lat Formation, which consists of shale interbedded with siltstone and mudstone.
The most suitable time to visit is during the rainy season, from May to August each year, when the water cascades down the cliff, resembling a beautiful waterfall curtain.
